TGMC uncovers unqualified dentists and homeopathy doctors treating skin ailments at Hyderabad clinic - The HinduPublished - June 01, 2026 08:05 pm IST - HYDERABADThe inspection was carried out at V Care Hair and Skin Clinic on Road No. 1, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad as part of a drive launched by the Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) on May 30. | Photo Credit: Special ArrangementThree dental practitioners and two homeopathy doctors were found treating skin-related ailments at a dermatology clinic in Hyderabad during a surprise inspection conducted by the Telangana Medical Council (TGMC).The inspection was carried out at V Care Hair and Skin Clinic on Road No. 1, Banjara Hills, as part of a drive launched by the Council on May 30 to check dermatology clinics across the city. According to the TGMC, the practitioners were carrying out skin procedures despite not being qualified in allopathic dermatology.The Council stated that cases would be registered against the five practitioners under Sections 34 and 54 of the National Medical Commission (NMC) Act.
