The Nationalist Party has said its live election results website was targeted by a hacking attempt as counting continues across Malta.The platform, which has been providing live updates and district-by-district figures throughout the day, appeared to experience issues earlier this evening, with some users reporting difficulties accessing the site.Speaking to Lovin Malta, a PN representative said the disruption was caused by a hacking attempt.“It was a hacking attempt and although it is working now, we still are working on stabilising it because of several other attempts,” the representative said.The website has since resumed operation, although the PN says efforts are ongoing to keep the platform stable amid what it described as further attempts to disrupt the service.No further details have yet been provided regarding the nature of the alleged attack.Lovin Malta will continue to follow developments and provide updates as more information becomes available.•
