Disclosure up front: I'm the founder of a small company nunma building an app for tutors and tuition centres in India, so I'm biased. I'm posting to learn, not to sell. For the past few weeks I've been sitting with tuition teachers in Tamil Nadu. Almost all of them say the same thing: the teaching is the easy part. The hours go into: - Typing and formatting question papers - Checking stacks of handwritten answer sheets - Keeping attendance and answering parents who ask whether their child came - Chasing fee payments - Keeping notes and batches organised across several WhatsApp groups and batch management I'd love to hear about your own week, wherever you teach: Which of these costs you the most time? What have you tried that actually helped, even something simple like a spreadsheet? What's one job you wish would just happen by itself? What I've built so far, in case it's relevant: a mobile app that makes a timed test from your notes with AI (you review it first), runs online tests with anti-cheat checks, lets you mark handwritten answers on your phone, tracks attendance that parents can see, and makes fee collection optional. It's free to start. I won't post a link here unless the moderators say that's fine or someone asks. I'll read every reply and try to fix real problems over the next few weeks. Honest criticism is welcome, including "I wouldn't use this." submitted by /u/Frequent-Company-247 [link] [comments]
