Arsenal continued their impressive Premier League campaign with a 1-0 victory over Hull City, but Paul Robinson believes the Gunners may have struggled to secure such a result in previous seasons. Mikel Arteta’s side controlled much of the contest and had opportunities to win by a more convincing margin, yet they ultimately had to settle for a narrow victory.Despite the scoreline, the result demonstrated another important aspect of Arsenal’s development. They have become more capable of handling difficult matches and finding ways to collect three points, even when their performances do not produce the number of goals their dominance might suggest. In the past, Arsenal could have allowed frustration to affect their approach in games like this. However, the current team appears better equipped to deal with opponents who make life difficult, showing the resilience needed to maintain a challenge for major honours.Arsenal have developed a winning mentalityThe Gunners will recognise that they could have made the afternoon more comfortable by converting more of their opportunities. Nevertheless, winning remains the priority, and another three points will matter far more than the margin of victory as they continue their campaign.Robinson has followed the club’s progress and believes the difference between the current side and previous Arsenal teams is clear. The former goalkeeper has seen the difficulties they experienced in earlier seasons and recognises the improvements that have helped them become more consistent.(Photo by Julian Finney/Getty Images)Robinson praises Arsenal’s resilienceSpeaking on Premier League Productions, Robinson highlighted how much the team have improved and why their latest result reflects that progress.“I don’t think Arsenal win that game two seasons ago – that shows how far they’ve come in a short space of time. They’ve got real resilience now. They’re a team of winners. They find a way to win, week after week, and they’re setting the standards.”Arteta will want his players to keep improving, particularly in front of goal, but the result offers another reason for satisfaction. Arsenal are finding ways to win matches that might previously have caused them problems, and that quality could prove valuable as the season progresses._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
