Hey everyone! I’m a 27 year old woman, and lately I’ve been feeling like I’m not living my life to the fullest. I really want to start getting out more, trying new things, and finding activities to look forward to during the week instead of just waiting for the weekend. I recently stopped smoking weed, which honestly took up a lot of my free time and left me feeling like I was in a fog. Now that I’ve stopped, I’m trying to be more intentional about how I spend my time and finally explore some of the things I’ve always wanted to do. I’d love recommendations for local businesses, classes, groups, or events, especially things like: Recurring trivia nights or other fun weeknight activities - Art galleries, exhibits, or creative events - Sewing or other hands-on classes - Violin lessons or opportunities to get back into playing (I used to play!) - Creative writing workshops - Live music performances (I love a good blues or jazz night) - Photography classes - Really anything that gives me a chance to learn something new, meet people, or just get out of the house! I feel like my life has been on pause for the past few years, and I’ve just been watching it pass by instead of actually experiencing it. I’m ready to change that, get out of my comfort zone, and take control of how I spend my time. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! 🥰 submitted by /u/ZealousidealYogurt34 to r/StLouis [link] [comments]
