An entire Disney hotel has sold out within two hours this morning. While Disney World has more than 25 hotels – from Value Resorts like the All-Star Resorts and Pop Century to Deluxe Resorts such as the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the Polynesian Village Resort – availability can still be spotty at certain hotels during busy periods of the year.Credit: DisneyFor example, guests have complained of minimal availability this November, especially when you try to search for discounted rooms. After searching for a seven-night stay for two people during the week of Thanksgiving, we were provided with just five hotel options (Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort), suggesting that other hotels are at occupancy. And as of today, a hotel that hasn’t even opened yet is also at full occupancy.Disney Hotel Now Fully BookedThat hotel is Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.More specifically, the resort’s exclusive “First Wave” experience – which allows eligible Disney Vacation Club members to stay at the hotel before its official opening – has completely sold out. The four-day, three-night experience runs from June 24 to 27, 2027.Credit: DisneyReservations opened at 10 a.m. ET this morning (November 7), but all available rooms were reportedly snapped up within roughly two hours. Guests hoping to secure a spot were required to call Disney Vacation Club Member Services, rather than book online. However, the booking process left some Disney fans frustrated. Several reported being repeatedly disconnected when trying to reach Member Services, while others spent hours on hold. One guest claimed to have called more than 400 times over two hours, only to miss out on a reservation. After over 400+ calls over 2 hours, looks like I missed out. Regular reservations are already open for stays beginning July 1, 2027, when the resort becomes available to the public. Those who missed out on the First Wave experience can also join a waitlist. The new Disney Vacation Club resort is located on the shores of Bay Lake, near Magic Kingdom. The resort will also feature swimming pools, a lazy river, multiple dining locations, and a lounge overlooking Magic Kingdom’s fireworks. Guests will be able to reach the park via complimentary water taxi.Credit: DisneyWhile certain elements of the hotel have left fans excited, many are concerned about its lack of immersive theming. While hotels of Disney’s past have featured colorful, novelty features inspired by iconic movies, Lakeshore Lodge looks rather bare – particularly from the exterior.“I’m sure the Lakeshore Lodge will be nice in its own modern way, but the lack of theming on the outside of the building really is laughable,” wrote one fan on X.Another took to Reddit to complain that it “looks like every ‘luxury’ apartment complex in Orlando.'”Similarly, a fan wrote, “Jesus that looks boring. What happened to Disney making thinks like the contemporary, Floridian, Polynesian and yacht and beach.”“Thanks, I hate it,” said one. “Give me traditional Disney theming any day. I’m not feeling the magic.”Do you plan on visiting Lakeshore Lodge? The post No More Reservations Available at Disney World Hotel After It Sells Out Within 2 Hours appeared first on Inside the Magic.
