What are your thoughts???GoldOANDA:XAUUSDTradersVilla01# XAUUSD (GOLD) – WEEKLY MARKET OUTLOOK | NOVEMBER 9–13 ### Market Structure | Liquidity | Price Action | Possible Scenarios **WEEKLY MARKET OBSERVATION** Gold has experienced a significant bullish recovery during the previous trading week. However, despite the strong buying pressure, price has failed to establish a decisive weekly close above the previous week's high. This is an important observation because bullish momentum alone does not necessarily indicate a confirmed bullish structural shift. The market needs to demonstrate acceptance above significant higher-timeframe resistance before we can confidently consider a continuation of the bullish trend. For now, I would remain cautious about chasing the bullish move and instead focus on how price reacts around important liquidity levels and higher-timeframe structural areas. ### 1. HIGHER-TIMEFRAME MARKET STRUCTURE My primary focus remains on the weekly and daily market structure. If the broader bearish structure remains intact, with price continuing to respect lower highs and lower lows, the recent bullish recovery could simply represent a retracement within the existing bearish trend. A strong bullish candle does not automatically invalidate the previous bearish structure. For a genuine bullish reversal to develop, I would want to see: - A decisive break above a significant previous lower high. - Strong bullish displacement. - Acceptance above the broken structural level. - Formation of a higher low. - Continued bullish expansion rather than an immediate rejection. Until these conditions develop, I would avoid assuming that the market has completely shifted its directional bias. ### 2. BEARISH SCENARIO – LIQUIDITY SWEEP AND DOWNSIDE CONTINUATION One scenario I will be monitoring closely is a potential move towards the previous weekly high or nearby buy-side liquidity. Price could initially move higher, creating the impression of bullish continuation, while simultaneously targeting liquidity resting above previous highs. However, if price fails to sustain acceptance above these levels and produces a bearish reaction, it could indicate that buyers are losing control. I would then look for confirmation on the lower timeframes: - Sweep of previous highs or buy-side liquidity. - Bearish displacement following the sweep. - CHoCH or BOS on the 4H, 1H or 15M timeframe. - Formation of a lower high. - Retracement into a valid supply or bearish imbalance area. If these conditions align, the possibility of further downside increases. Potential downside reference areas: • 4,037 – Initial downside reference • 4,000 – Psychological support • 3,940 – Further downside reference • 3,921 – Additional support reference These levels are areas of interest rather than guaranteed targets. Actual execution would depend on price-action confirmation. ### 3. BULLISH SCENARIO – STRUCTURAL REVERSAL AND CONTINUATION On the other hand, I am not ruling out further upside. Gold has demonstrated considerable buying strength, and if buyers manage to reclaim and sustain acceptance above the previous weekly high, the bearish outlook would need to be reconsidered. For a bullish continuation, I would want to see: - Strong bullish displacement above resistance. - A decisive break of the previous weekly high. - Acceptance above the broken level. - Formation of a higher low on the 4H or daily timeframe. - Continued bullish market structure. If these conditions develop, potential upside reference areas would include 4,188 and 4,200, followed by higher resistance areas. A temporary move above previous highs would not be sufficient on its own. I would distinguish between a liquidity sweep and a genuine structural breakout. ### 4. CONSOLIDATION – LIQUIDITY BUILDUP Another possibility is that gold spends the beginning of the week consolidating within a defined range. In such a scenario, price could continue collecting liquidity on both sides before establishing its next directional move. I would avoid taking unnecessary positions in the middle of a consolidation range. Instead, I would wait for price to approach the range extremes, take liquidity and establish a clear directional shift. ### 5. MY TRADING APPROACH FOR THE COMING WEEK Rather than predicting the next move in advance, I will allow price to confirm its intentions. My execution process will remain focused on: 1. Identifying higher-timeframe supply, demand and liquidity zones. 2. Monitoring previous weekly and daily highs and lows. 3. Waiting for liquidity sweeps around important structural levels. 4. Looking for displacement and BOS/CHoCH confirmation. 5. Waiting for a retracement into a valid entry area. 6. Executing only when the setup offers clearly defined risk and invalidation. I will not chase bullish or bearish candles without structural confirmation. ### FINAL MARKET OUTLOOK My overall approach towards gold for the coming week is cautious and conditional. The inability to establish a weekly close above the previous week's high is something worth monitoring, but it does not independently confirm bearish continuation. I want to see whether buyers can establish acceptance above higher-timeframe resistance or whether sellers use a potential liquidity sweep to regain control. If bearish structure develops, I will look for opportunities to trade lower highs and lower lows. If bullish structure develops and significant resistance is reclaimed, I will reassess the bearish outlook accordingly. **The objective is not to predict where the market will go. The objective is to understand what the market is doing, wait for confirmation and execute accordingly.** **Structure over speculation. Patience over prediction. Precision over emotion.** — TRADERS VILLA
