I built MoxiMail because I got tired of watching small businesses pay Google Workspace prices just to have [hello@theirbusiness.com](mailto:hello@theirbusiness.com). I'm a solo founder, and MoxiMail is my hosted email service: business email on your own domain, from $1 per mailbox a month. It's Mailcow, hosted and managed on my own servers — so SPF, DKIM and DMARC are set up properly, mail is backed up nightly as well as a redundant server, and you don't have to run a mail server yourself. What you get: Your own domain email ([you@yourbusiness.com](mailto:you@yourbusiness.com)), webmail + IMAP 25–50 GB per mailbox plus branded webmail depending on plan, calendar and contacts included No big-tech lock-in, no per-user price creep $1 / $1.50 / $2.10 per mailbox/month depending on the plan The honest bit: it's a one-person operation — but this isn't a side project on a rented VPS. I also run a hosting business, so the mail runs on dedicated servers along with a redundant server and another VPS that backs everything up I own and manage myself. I'd honestly like your feedback: What's the most annoying thing about your business email right now — the price, the lock-in, or something else? moximail.net submitted by /u/sams8com [link] [comments]
