As the international break looms, there’s a shed load of football taking place up and down the country this weekend as the season starts to take shape going into the winter months. Our very own Ally McCoist has picked his talkSPORT BET tips on matches across four Saturday afternoon’s ties from around the Premier League, Championship and Scottish Premiership, which you can add straight to your bet slip HERE.Ally’s Acca boosted to 14/1 with talkSPORT BET (was 12/1)talkSPORT BET – Bet £10 and get £40 in free bets + 100% boost token – CLAIM HERE*Fulham vs Newcastle (Sat, 3pm)It took until mid October for Fulham to score their first win of the season. But since then they’ve taken seven points from their three games to turn the tide.In contrast, Newcastle took eight points from their opening five matches. But their form has dropped off a cliff since then, losing five games in a row in all competitions.Fulham have won three of their last top-flight meetings with the Magpies and recent form suggest a home win for the Cottagers is on the cards. Prediction: Fulham to win – 10/11Draw – 13/5Newcastle – 19/10Cardiff vs Burnley (Sat, 3pm)Cardiff were quick off the start-line at home to West Ham in midweek. 3-0 up in 39 minutes with a first-half hattrick from Jack Moylan.Their second half display was one to forget, but they’re developing an ominous record at the Cardiff City Stadium – the south Wales ‘fortress’ hasn’t seen defeat so far this season.Big wins over Charlton, Watford and promotion hopefuls Birmingham have been the standouts on home turf. Burnley are having a wretched first few months of the season, sitting 22nd in the Championship table, chalking up one win and two managers already.Prediction: Cardiff to win – 20/21Draw – 11/4Burnley – 17/10Dundee Utd vs Motherwell (Sat, 3pm)Dundee United are out for revenge. Motherwell thrashed the Tangerines 3-0 at Fir Park in September. But since then United are unbeaten, winning three of their last six matches and getting an impressive 2-2 draw at Celtic Park last time out. In contrast, Motherwell’s form has been poor, only rdcording their first win since that impressive victory, last week. Alfred Johansson’s side had lost six matches on the spin to plummet down the table. The momentum looks to be with Dundee United and I’m backing their home form to pull them through.Prediction: Dundee Utd to win – 20/23Draw – 27/10Motherwell – 19/10Blackburn vs West Ham (Sat, 3pm)West Ham’s second-half comeback against Cardiff in midweek, showed heart and endeavour. But Scott Parker will hope that’s the first and only time he will have to read the riot act to his new side.Parker only took over on Wednesday morning, before taking his place in the away dugout in south Wales. The Hammers are on the road again at Blackburn, looking to snap a three match winless run, since beating promotion rivals Swansea. But interestingly they are yet to lose away from home this campaign. Blackburn have lost three of their last four Championship contests, and sit five points adrift of West Ham in the final playoff spot right now.A Hammers win could spell the end of their ambitions. For now anyway. Prediction: West Ham to win – 4/7Draw – 3/1Blackburn – 31/10All odds correct at the time of writing.talkSPORT BET – Bet £10 and get £40 in free bets + 100% boost token – CLAIM HERE*Odds Courtesy of talkSPORT BET*18+ New customers only.
