Hey I recently bought a New PS5 Slim with 13.40 And already Jailbroken it. I installed today Bazzite Deck on a external SDD from VivaLeVent and it was really easy to get it running. But I noticed when the console is running and just idling in desktop mode the Fan is a lot more noticeably running. And often spins up a bit more and down again without much load, on my PS5 System I don’t hear it that often. I got the feeling it also getting a lot more heat just from idling, when I turned it off and went back into PS5 mode starting GT7, in Game the Fans now kicked in a lot more than I used to, like if the Console on Bazzite got heaten up a lot more and now tries to getting the temperature down. The fan also made some weird crunchy noises when turning of Linux. I’m really excited to use Linux on it being also a bit more demanding, and i know maybe a lot is still early and people putting good effort in it, but my first experience was a bit concerning for my taste 😅 I saw people very successful use it for steam and even put local ki on it, so it can handle it, Would like to hear your experiences, if you also noticed loud fan noises or other concerning behavior or maybe I should try another distro or I missed out some important tweaks Thank you for reading and your help   submitted by   /u/Fuchsrehchen [link]   [comments]
