To sum it all up. I left a hospice position after about 6 months. My last day was maybe 2 weeks ago. I gave the proper notice, worked it out etc… WHY ARE THEY HOUNDING ME FOR AN EXIT INTERVIEW?! A little background on the position. There were some days where I worked 13days straight case managing and taking call. There were maybe 50 patients split between myself and another nurse. The company didn’t want to hire help because of “census” and well… I broke down and placed a notice in. Even on my last day, at the END of that day someone messaged me “congratulations, I wish you the best. But as you know hospice is the gift that keeps on giving. Could you please place an order in for me”… (no exaggeration). I knew then that the position was not for me, I’d never return, and that I made the right choice. But now, they’re emailing and calling me for an exit interview. I’ve received 3 calls, 2 voicemails, and 2 emails in 48hrs. Has this happened to anyone else after leaving a nursing position? Thanks! submitted by /u/Flimsy20 [link] [comments]
