is it a bad idea to still interview at a hospital system after accepting a job there

Wait 5 sec.

Hello, I am a med surg nurse with a year of experience. I have been commuting almost an hour each way for my current role and recently landed a job at a closer med surg floor within the same hospital system. As soon as I accepted the offer, the manager for an outpatient cardiac nuclear medicine office reached out for an interview. Although I don’t have a lot of cardiac experience, this job sounds wonderful due to the schedule and workflow involved (especially compared to med surg). Would it be a bad idea to still interview since everything’s connected by the same hospital system and I’ve already accepted? I’ve had one coworker tell me it’s chill to tell them you changed your mind but I’m not sure. Am I under qualified for this nuclear cardiac job anyway? I would really appreciate some input, thank you. submitted by /u/Ok-Order4318 [link] [comments]
