Borussia Dortmund will take on Elversberg in the Bundesliga on Saturday as they aim to preserve their unbeaten start to the league campaign.Dortmund are still unbeaten after eight Bundesliga matches this season and sit second in the table. However, they have drawn three of their previous four league games, including a hard-fought 2-2 away result against Bayern Munich. At home, though, Niko Kovač’s team have been in strong form, following up a 2-1 Champions League win over Real Betis at Signal Iduna Park with their third straight victory on home soil in all competitions.Borussia Dortmund team newsDortmund will need to make several tactical changes for the match against Elversberg, mainly because top striker Serhou Guirassy is unavailable after suffering a muscle injury during the Champions League win against Real Betis.Fábio Silva is expected to take his place and lead the forward line. The manager’s choices are also limited by longer-term injuries, with Emre Can and Giannis Konstantelias both ruled out after serious cruciate ligament damage, while Justin Lerma continues to recover from a muscle problem.Midfielder Marcel Sabitzer is another concern, as illness leaves him doubtful for a starting role. Even so, Dortmund are expected to field a strong side, with Gregor Kobel in goal behind a back three of Joane Gadou, Waldemar Anton, and Nico Schlotterbeck. Jobe Bellingham and Felix Nmecha are likely to sit in central midfield, with Julian Ryerson and Max Svensson operating on the flanks. Up front, Maximilian Beier and Carney Chukwuemeka are set to support Silva.Borussia Dortmund predicted lineupPossible Borussia Dortmund starting XI: Kobel; Gadou, Anton, Schlotterbeck; Ryerson, Bellingham, Nmecha, Svensson; Beier, Chukwuemeka; SilvaWhen will the match kick off?The match will kick off at 2:30pm BST on Saturday, 7th November. How to watch Borussia Dortmund vs Elversberg? The Bundesliga meeting between Dortmund and Elversberg will not be shown live on television or through streaming platforms in the United Kingdom because of the 3pm blackout rule.Read Also – Xabi Alonso ‘very happy’ with Cole Palmer amid England snubSee More – Ben White ‘deserves to open new chapter’ with EnglandFollow the Football Faithful on Social Media:Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTubeThe post Borussia Dortmund vs Elversberg – Predicted lineup and team news appeared first on The Football Faithful.
