I do vehicle emissions and registration renewals. Old man came to do an emissions test, which we happily did. He handed us his renewal reminder postcard, even though he did not want his renewal done. Once the emission test is done, he left without retrieving his renewal postcard, and procedure is to shred it and throw it away because it has personal information on it. this is not a paper you NEED whatsoever to renew your registration in my state. Old man came back, demanded the paper back, and i told him i threw it away because he never retrieved it, and i explained to him that it was procedure to throw it away. Old man proceeded to SCREAM at me in front of an office full of customers, i told him to GTFO, and he called the police on me. They sent FOUR officers down and the old man was trespassed.
