Wanted to learn the full build-deploy-ship cycle so I built a browser game. You get a $25 budget, 10 random NBA players, and blind-bid against the CPU (or other players) to build a 5-man lineup that plays a 7-game series. Tech stack: Next.js 14, TypeScript, Tailwind, Supabase (auth + Postgres), Vercel. Used Claude Code for most of the development. Features so far: CPU mode, async head-to-head PvP with Elo ratings, group drafts (3-8 players), weekly challenge with a shared leaderboard, achievements, AI-generated series recaps. Just launched it publicly tonight — posted on r/nba and already getting feedback. Would love thoughts from other builders on the product or the approach. courtsidegm.com submitted by /u/Typical-Age7525 [link] [comments]
