But they did get a morale-boosting victory in the Champions League in midweek. That win owes a lot to Erling Haaland’s winner in the 3-2 triumph over RB Leipzig in Germany. But after back-to-back Premier League losses that has seen Enzo Maresca’s relinquish top spot to Arsenal, City’s record against Forest suggest this could be the perfect game to get back on track.City have lost just once to the Tricky Trees in the last nine meetings. Oliver Glasner is searching for some impetus to turn Forest’s fortunes round. If you’re into xG and expected results, then they’d be 3rd in the table (via FotMob). But in reality, the home side start this match scrapping in the relegation zone.Nonetheless, it may be a hard-fought 90 minutes in the Midlands that City will hope to bounce back from two straight league losses which makes this super boosted 50/1 offer a very tempting value play.
