Arsenal ‘confident’ of signing Leipzig winger Nusa

Wait 5 sec.

Arsenal are increasing in confidence that the club can land RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa in the January transfer window. The Premier League champions have tracked Nusa for a long period as the club look to add another winger to their squad. Arsenal allowed Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli to leave in the summer, while adding Christos Tzolis to their ranks. However, a failure to sign a second winger means another addition in the final third remains a focus. Arsenal had been interested in both Vinicius Junior and Morgan Rogers in the summer, but missed out on both players. Chelsea signed Rogers in a £117m club record deal, while Vinicius opted to sign a new deal with Real Madrid.Nusa has had an impressive start to the season at Leipzig and shone despite defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League in midweek. He has four goals and six assists in the Bundesliga so far this season and is valued in excess of £45m.According to TEAMtalk, Leipzig are reluctant to sell mid-season, but could be persuaded should Arsenal make a big offer. The German side are in a strong position, with Nusa contracted until 2029. Tottenham have also tracked Nusa and could rival their North London neighbours for a deal.Read – Liam Rosenior insists he’s ‘not a joke’ after Chelsea media scrutinySee Also – Five of the best Premier League away kits in 2026/27Follow The Football Faithful on Social Media:Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube | TikTokThe post Arsenal ‘confident’ of signing Leipzig winger Nusa appeared first on The Football Faithful.
