Noni Madueke has suffered another setback in his international career after being left out of Thomas Tuchel’s latest England squad for the November international break. Not long ago, the Arsenal winger was one of Tuchel’s preferred players, with the German manager selecting him for the 2026 World Cup despite questions from some supporters and neutrals about whether other options deserved a place ahead of him. However, Madueke has now missed out on selection again, having also been overlooked during the previous international window. His omission is particularly surprising given that he has recently enjoyed some encouraging performances for Arsenal.Madueke misses out despite recent improvementThe winger has struggled with consistency, and his opportunities at Arsenal are often limited when Bukayo Saka is available. He has found it difficult to displace his England teammate, although he has received more playing time in recent matches.Madueke performed well against Liverpool and also found the net against Slavia Praha. Those displays appeared to give him a strong opportunity to impress Tuchel ahead of the latest squad announcement. However, according to Football London, the England manager has once again decided against including the Arsenal attacker in his squad for the upcoming fixtures.(Photo by Richard Pelham/Getty Images)Tuchel prefers other attacking optionsTuchel’s decision suggests he believes other players currently offer more to the England squad than Madueke. Despite his recent contributions for Arsenal, the winger has not done enough to convince the manager to restore him to the international group. The omission will be disappointing for Madueke, particularly after receiving such strong backing from Tuchel in the past. He will now have to focus on maintaining his form and improving his consistency if he wants to return to the national team.Arsenal still have several players involved with England, underlining how highly Tuchel regards the quality within Mikel Arteta’s squad. The manager appears to appreciate the level of performance produced by several Gunners players, even if Madueke has not made the latest selection. The winger still has time to work his way back into contention before the next major international break. Regular performances and greater consistency at club level could give him another opportunity to convince Tuchel that he deserves a place in England’s plans._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
