Who Are You Voting For, Daddy? is an exploitable meme format based on a political comic in which a daughter asks her dad who he's voting for, and he responds, "You," suggesting he's voting for the party that best supports her rights. The comic was illustrated and written by artist Adam Zyglis for The Buffalo News during the 2024 U.S. elections. It went viral as the subject of edits in late October and early November 2026 surrounding the 2026 U.S. Midterm elections. As a meme, the captions in the comic are often edited to make the interaction between the father and daughter absurd or nonsensical, with the characters sometimes also being replaced. In 2026, the comic was also widely recreated and shared online with AI, altering the art style. The artist made a post in October 2026 denouncing the AI versions of the comic.Read More
