Hi Reddit, I'm here to post a query as I'm not getting much response from the Facebook Groups I've joined, and Google Searches haven't given me anything significant to work with. I jailbroke a console on 13.00 firmware recently via the WebKit exploit. I had done this via an ESP32 board, as I utilised one with my PS4 to ensure it remained offline. I used the WebKit for a short while, though found inconsistencies in the success of the exploit, and recently changed to the YouTube exploit, though this has meant being connected to the Internet. I had been using the console storage and an external SSD to hold my games. Everything worked as it should with ShadowMountPlus acknowledging all game formats and paths. Before changing the exploit method, I added storage to the M.2 slot in the console and moved some games around. My exFAT games remained on the console storage and were picked up by ShadowMountPlus, though my LZ4 and Folder format games are on the M.2 slot and aren't automatically detected (despite all storage options being available in ShadowMountPlus). I made a workaround for this by manually adding the paths, and the games load, despite ShadowMountPlus still only detecting the exFAT games on each console load. I've refreshed and rescanned things many times and nothing changes. Recently, I've added some PC Gaming Homebrew to my console, as well as another Folder Format game. None of these have been detected by ShadowMountPlus, regardless of which hard drive they live on. I've been scratching my head trying to figure out what has caused my console to become so unresponsive to any new additions to the system. I've had thoughts that a few factors at play could be the recent Internet connection, and the M.2 storage. As I had set everything up offline, I deleted some of my payloads and replaced them with what appears to be the newest versions in the payload manager, though this does not change or update anything unfortunately. I shall keep trying to resolve my issues, though don't want to have to factory reset everything and start again. If I am missing anything glaringly obvious, please do point this out to me! I'm new to the PS5 and learning about how the system works, though I do notice some similarities to the PS3 I Modded some years ago. All feedback is appreciated. I just want my homebrew to acknowledge and install the Games and Emulators I've acquired. Thank you. submitted by /u/unif0rmresourceloc8r [link] [comments]
