Zedan Racing Stable's Salahudin (Uncle Mo), a good third to his 'TDN Rising Star' presented by Hagyard stablemate Hughes (Into Mischief) and fellow 'Rising Star' American History (Constitution) in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Oct. 30, could make his next appearance in the GII Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes at Churchill Downs on Nov. 28, trainer Bob Baffert told the track's media team.Purchased for $325,000 at last year's Fasig-Tipton October Sale after failing to meet his reserve at Keeneland September, the dark bay colt ran the table in the first three starts of his career, including the Aug. 9 Ellis Park Juvenile followed by a half-length success in the GIII Iroquois Stakes in Louisville Sept. 12. A 23-5 chance in the Juvenile, Salahudin was prominent throughout and just missed surging past American History for second.Should he go in the Kentucky Jockey Club, the race in which future Horse of the Year Sovereignty broke his maiden in 2024, Salahudin might be getting a change of equipment.“I think I am going to take the blinkers off him,” Baffert told the Breeders' Cup notes team the day after the Juvenile. “He's a really big horse, the kind of horse that cannot stop and go.”The Kentucky Jockey Club is part of the Stars of Tomorrow II program with races exclusively for 2-year-olds. Kentucky Derby points are offered on a 10-5-3-2-1 scale. The post Salahudin Possible For Kentucky Jockey Club appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
