I currently can't offer more than $7,000 for the whole project. However if you can perfectly replicate the first or second artstyle i would be willing to save up for a bigger budget, so please share your portfolio regardless of my current budget and give me a price by panel/page in the meantime. I'm fine with using most payment methods as long as it's well known, and i prefer to pay per page, half the price of the page upfront, and the other half once the first page is done. I can pay for the whole page first as long as you have a positive art commission history! There wouldn't be too much color in the comic, i mostly want it to be a black and white comic with ocassional details having color(similar to the first artwork shown here) and the background doesn't have to be very detailed for the majority of the panels(backgrounds similar to the 3rd and 4th artwork for most panels with only a couple of pages focusing more on the environment.) I'm not sure how many pages this would end up being, but i'd want about five stylized panels per page. The comic wouldn't be very long, it's a horror story and will mostly be about the characters in a futuristic apocalypse talking to eachother about how one person in their group is weird, never talking, scratching her eyes, ears and nose, and never reacting to things around her. The apocalypse was started by a rare mushroom that spread everywhere, erode metals, destroyed roads and buildings and slowly started rotting all types of foods, eventually animals started eating the mushrooms and getting sick, then humans started eating the mushrooms and then it abruptly ends there without showing what the result of that was, the characters the comic follows are on a spaceship, they know what's happening on earth so they're trying to survive on the spaceship. I'd hope to have multiple comics covering the whole story some day, but i gotta start somewhere. I'm also gonna mention some of the horror elements and what the story would include incase you wouldn't wanna draw these things: lots of scars, nose bleeds, self harm, mushrooms growing on someones arm, mushroom diseased looking cows and fish, uncanny valley characters, curse words, panic disorder and alcoholism. submitted by /u/zGeckoo [link] [comments]
