Not off topic at all! Thanks for your comment, thanks for trying to help me! And sorry too, because I didn’t mean that I could only eat small quantities because of IBS. I know that I have IBS. I don’t know why I can’t eat much. Is it IBS? Undiagnosed MCAS or something close? No idea, and doctors are… well, doctors. They don’t care. I had never heard of SIBO before! I’m going to read about that, thanks for the idea. I saw only one gastroenterologist in my life and it went awful. His appointments were max 5 minutes long, I saw it with the clients before me. I got in, he saw I had a lot of vegetables and other stuff listed as giving me guts issues and told me it was IBS. He then said he would do a coloscopy and to see with his secretary. He refused to look at my list of foods I can’t eat beside « lots of stuff there ». He refused to answer questions. Less than 5 minutes. Then, there were 3 secretaries planning coloscopies for people who had been thrown out of this doctor’s office without a word. I did the exam, it was awful but I‘m not coeliac. This doctor doesn’t want to see people a second time if they don’t have something really bad, so it ends here. No help. I should try to see another one, but I‘d need a referral for this, and my GP won’t give me one, and he thinks like the psychiatrist. I have a referral letter from an allergologist that could maybe be used for that, but it was addressed to the internist service of the hospital at first (they refused to see me as I already went there two years ago for my fibromyalgia diag. They are doctors, therefore they are perfect and can’t have missed anything, so why would I want to come back? Missing a comorbidity, which happens often with fibro? No, they are perfect! I hate doctors more and more each time), so I don’t know if I could use it this way. I’ll check, maybe the wording is imprecise enough to try. I saw SIBO tests online, for 150 euros. Expensive but doable. I don’t know if they are serious, but they seem to be, and I don’t think my GP or psychiatrist will ever allow me to see another gastro so… I‘ll have a closer look. This GP and this psychiatrist are the only doctors I learnt to trust after years of seeing them. I only had awful ones before. I was really starting to trust them. And then « stop looking for a diag, grieve etc ». I’m just lost. Thanks for your comment and this new idea of where to look. You helped more than doctors, I swear
