/u/RainyDaysBlueSkies on I’m going to spend thousands on a family cruise but expect you to watch my kids for free because “my children are not a job”

Wait 5 sec.

We went back to Europe yearly when our kids were growing up and I always thought of a nanny being such a gift. We'd pay flights and private accommodations with ensuite and all meals but I felt 200/day was appropriate for 6 hours a day with six full days off and 10 nights off. We would go for 2-3 weeks so I had to do without the nanny, it was too costly. If you can't afford to pay properly, don't even suggest it!
