ന്യൂഡല്ഹി| കേരളത്തില് കാലവര്ഷം ഇത്തവണ നേരത്തെ എത്തുമെന്ന് ഇന്ത്യന് കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. മെയ് 26-ഓടെ തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറന് മണ്സൂണ് കേരളതീരത്ത് എത്താന് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നാണ് പുതിയ അറിയിപ്പ്.മെയ് 22-നും മെയ് 30-നും ഇടയിലുള്ള ഏത് ദിവസവും കാലവര്ഷം കേരളത്തില് എത്തിയേക്കാം. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്ഷം മെയ് 24-നായിരുന്നു സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് കാലവര്ഷം എത്തിയത്. സാധാരണയായി ജൂണ് ഒന്നിനാണ് കേരളത്തില് കാലവര്ഷം എത്താറുള്ളത് എന്നാല് ഇത്തവണ ഒരാഴ്ചയോളം നേരത്തെ മഴയെത്തുമെന്നാണ് സൂചന.അതേ സമയം സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് വേനല് മഴ കനക്കുകയാണ്. ഇന്ന് ഇടുക്കി, മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലകളില് ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥലങ്ങളില് അതിശക്തമായ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. ഈ ജില്ലകളില് ഓറഞ്ച് അലര്ട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. കോട്ടയം, എറണാകുളം, തൃശൂര്, പാലക്കാട്, കോഴിക്കോട്, വയനാട്, കണ്ണൂര്, കാസര്കോട് ജില്ലകളിലാണ് യെല്ലോ അലേര്ട്ടും പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.Content Highlights:The Indian Meteorological Department announced that the southwest monsoon is likely to arrive early in Kerala around May 26 this year. The onset is projected to happen anytime between May 22 and May 30, shifting forward from the usual June 1 schedule. Meanwhile, pre-monsoon showers continue to intensify across the state, prompting weather officials to issue orange alerts for Idukki and Malappuram districts. Yellow alerts have also been declared for eight other districts including Kozhikode, Wayanad, and Kannur due to isolated heavy rainfall.
