The Pokemon Company revealed that it is gradually releasing Mega Raichu plushies in Japan. It has launched online store pages for the items on the Japanese Pokemon Center Online site. The same plushies will also appear in physical Pokemon Center stores across the country on May 23, 2026. The plushies will appear in two variants: Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y. Both items were made in the Philippines with polyester and are being sold separately with the same price tag of ¥5,500 (~$34.60). However, these plushies are not life-sized, as their regular dimensions hover around 35 cm (~14 in) when the original Pokedex entries would put their actual heights at around 1 meter (~3 ft). The Mega Raichu X plush also features a gimmick that allows its tails’ positions to be adjusted. The owner can even make Mega Raichu X stand on its tails when adjusted properly.
