Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg has strongly condemned the conduct of Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir toward activists involved in the Global Sumud flotilla, describing his behaviour as “deeply disturbing and unacceptable.”Footage circulating on social media shows dozens of activists being detained aboard a military vessel and later inside an Israeli detention facility, with the Israeli national anthem playing in the background.“Malta adds its voice to the international condemnation of his actions, which were also denounced by his own colleagues in the Israeli government.
