Pre-Market Spoof on SPX! Traps Bulls Ahead of US OpenS&P 500 Index CashFX:SPX500AndyMorganFolks, if you were buying this morning’s green candles on SPX, you were likely providing liquidity for a massive institutional short trap visible on the E-mini futures (ES1!). Today, we are staring at confirmed Stagflation. The pre-market macro data dump was a pure toxic cocktail for equities: US Retail Sales flatlined at 0.0% (Consumer is dying). Import Prices jumped by 0.9% (Inflation is sticky). Industrial & Mfg Production missed estimates (Economy is slowing). Followed by the Fed's Barr essentially ruling out imminent rate cuts. There is zero fundamental reason for SPX to be long today. Yet, price rallied right into the 9:30 AM EST cash open. Why? Blatant order book manipulation. Using Bookmap on ES1!, we observed a massive (1000+ contract) spoof "Buy Wall" appear in the pre-market after the initial data dump. This fake wall didn't stand still; it was actively "laddered" or "stepped" upwards to bulldoze price higher. This artificial pump served only one purpose: to entice retail "dip-buyers" and create enough liquidity for Smart Money to load up on much better short entries before the main cash session. The proof is in the timing. This entire 1060-contract Buy Wall on ES1! was pulled precisely 9 seconds before the opening bell. The ensuing collapse was instantaneous as price fell into the resulting liquidity vacuum. The bulls got absolutely wrecked. The Intraday Plan: Today's pre-market rally was manufactured with fakes; the subsequent Waterfall is real. The primary trend remains heavily bearish. The failed rally zone from pre-market (roughly 7445–7450 on futures) is now solidified as heavy Supply. I am treating every intraday bounce today as a Dead Cat Bounce. I'm looking for absorption signs in Bookmap (aggressive buys meeting passive sell walls) near resistance levels for high-probability short entries, targeting a retest of the daily lows and potentially a break below the psychological 7400 level. When a rally is manufactured with fakes, the dump is almost always genuine. This is a clear Risk-Off day. Trade safe.
