One of Malta’s biggest motoring events has returned in aid of Puttinu Cares serving automotive excellence until Sunday 17th May.The event that started on 14th May is organised by MMG Promotions and is as a celebration of cars, community and charity. It brings together hundreds of vehicles ranging from supercars and sports models to classic cars, modified builds and heavy-duty trucks.Organisers said the festival aims to attract both automotive enthusiasts and families through a mix of exhibitions, entertainment, food areas and community-focused activities.One of the biggest highlights announced for this year’s edition is the appearance of Swiss racing driver Louis Delétraz together with the 2024 LMP2 Pro/Am Championship-winning car, which organisers say will be displayed in Malta for the first time.The event will also feature what is being described as the first-ever live demonstration of a World Championship-winning endurance racing car on Maltese public roads at the Cottonera Promenade.Żabbar Autofest, which has grown significantly since its early editions, will once again support Puttinu Cares, with proceeds from the event going toward the NGO’s work supporting children and adults undergoing cancer treatment.Organisers are encouraging visitors to attend with friends and family, promising a weekend focused on motoring culture, entertainment and community spirit.Tag a friend to go with them•
