Artist Johanna Barthet has launched a new solo exhibition titled Stories Revisited, a collection inspired by childhood memories, nostalgia and moments from everyday life.The exhibition opening on the 15th of May until the 15th of June acts as a follow-up to Barthet’s 2019 debut solo exhibition Stories Untold, continuing her exploration of personal experiences through painting.Hosted at Teatru Salesjan, the collection features works filled with nostalgic themes and subtle humour reflecting the human experience.“Art has always been a part of my life, from the earliest years,” Barthet said.“Over time, the work has evolved with me so you can say that we grew up together.”The artist also reflected on how long it took her to publicly exhibit her work, revealing that she held her first solo exhibition at the age of 51.Stories Revisited is currently open to the public at Teatru Salesjan in Sliema.Will you be visiting this exhibition?•
