Former Videocon chairman Venugopal Dhoot has approached the Supreme Court, seeking to include foreign oil and gas assets of various Videocon entities in the insolvency process of Videocon Industries. The NCLAT had previously rejected this plea, citing interference with the Committee of Creditors' commercial wisdom and the distinct business operations of VIL and its subsidiaries.
