Three IPS officers, including former Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyel, have been suspended by the West Bengal Chief Minister over the RG Kar rape and murder case. The Chief Minister said that departmental proceedings will commence against the suspended officers. The CBI will conduct the main investigation.
