Promoter Abtex has dismissed claims by singer Spice Diana that he still owes her money from previous shows they worked on together.The disagreement became public during yesterday’s #HipHopKuNtiko press conference where Spice Diana openly demanded payment from Abtex, repeatedly telling him to “pay me.”However, Abtex has now denied ever having unresolved financial issues with the singer, insisting that all dealings concerning Spice Diana were handled through her former manager, Manager Roger.According to Abtex, he rarely dealt directly with artists because he preferred communicating with their management teams.Since back then I have been working with Manager Roger, I don’t have personal contacts of some musicians like Spice Diana, Winnie Nwagi, Rema Namakula, Sheebah Karungi, Joshua Baraka.He added that despite occasionally having disagreements with Roger over payments, they always found ways to resolve them, meaning Spice Diana has no pending balance to claim from him.Balaam alleges Abtex manipulated process, diverted Shs10 billion promoter fundsAbtex also revealed that Spice Diana’s recent comments are part of the reason he no longer works with her.
