You’ve seen Operation Epic Fury, now come play Operation Epic Furious: Strait to Hell, a savage takedown of Trump’s Iran debacle, on Capitol Hill

Wait 5 sec.

Guerilla art group, the Secret Handshake, has struck again, this time with a set of fully functional arcade cabinets at the D.C. War Memorial. This latest installation, titled Operation Epic Furious: Strait to Hell, is a biting, satirical take on President Trump’s war with Iran, which the administration dubbed ‘Operation Epic Fury.’ According to NBC 4 report, the game is drawing crowds of curious onlookers eager to get their hands on the controls. The game has you playing as Trump, who can move your character through the Oval Office and the rest of the White House, encountering various caricatures of administration officials. You might run into Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, FBI Director Kash Patel, and even First Lady Melania Trump. Per The Hill, the game tasks players with stocking up on oil barrels and completing various missions assigned by key figures like Vice President JD Vance and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The ultimate goal is to collect enough Truth Social posts to open the Strait of Hormuz. It is a strange, high-stakes objective that perfectly captures the absurdity of the past few months.  Honestly, considering the name ‘Operation Epic Fury,’ I am surprised it took so long to get a parody Interestingly, the developers made a conscious choice to keep the experience free of actual violence. While you will see plenty of fiery, pixelated explosions on the screen, there are no guns or shooting mechanics in the simulation. When you first boot up the game, you are greeted with a prompt that sets the tone: “Introducing … a high-octane, flag-waving, boots-on-the-ground simulator where freedom isn’t debated, it’s deployed.” It continues, “No briefings, no hesitation, just pure pixelated patriotism. Strap in and play hard, because this game may never end.”  The gameplay options are equally tongue-in-cheek. You start by choosing to order a Diet Coke or attempt to invade Iran.  “Anonymous” artists just dropped a pop-up video game called "Operation Epic Furious: Strait to Hell" targeting the Trump administration.Protest signs are out. So it isn’t surprising that some visitors are concerned about its placement inside a memorial for those who have died in war. Others, however, are fully embracing the satire. One visitor, Donna Powell, compared it to the other statues by the group, saying, “And I think, by far, this one’s the most creative, and the most fun and the most interactive, so I hope it stays up longer than what they usually do.”  Her husband, Don added, “I think you have to share it through humor, because you know they’re censoring Jimmy Fallon and everyone else. They have to get their message out through humor because they are trying to censor the people’s voice, the newspapers, and this is just another method to share it more widely.” The group that has previously mocked Trump's close friendship with predator Jeffrey Epstein now has video games mocking Donald placed on the National Mall "The video game online begins by allowing users to guide Trump around a pixelated White House and interact with other… pic.twitter.com/EJKFivwQEA— Democratic Coalition (@TheDemCoalition) May 13, 2026 The Secret Handshake is no stranger to making waves in the capital. They are the same anonymous collective that previously installed a golden toilet and a statue featuring the president and Jeffrey Epstein in a Titanic pose on the National Mall. Their work often centers on mocking the administration.  According to the group, the game features “furious tweet battles against Iranian schoolgirls, low-flow shower heads and other threats to American freedom like DEI and The Pope.” They also note that the only way to lose is by trying to hold Melania’s hand, though they emphasize that, because it is set in the Middle East, you also cannot win. Also, considering the president’s track record with handshakes, maybe he shouldn’t hold anyone’s hand. Lots of activity still at the DC War Memorial, where Operation Epic Furious: Strait To Hell arcade games have been set up since Monday. If you cannot make it to the National Mall, the game is also available to play online. The physical consoles are expected to remain at the D.C. War Memorial for the next few days. Perhaps the most viral moment involving the installation came when a photo surfaced on X showing two National Guard members playing the game.
