Imagineer announced that it has released a public demo version of Medabots Card Robattle RB on the Japanese Nintendo eShop. People who have a Japanese Nintendo Account can now get a sneak peek of the new game ahead of its release in late June 2026. This new title will be a card battle game that features the eponymous Medabots and key characters from the franchise. The full release will be available in two versions: Kabuto (Beetle / Metabee) and Kuwagata (Stag Beetle / Rokusho). Imagineer added that the newly published demo is particularly based on the Kuwagata version. However, it will also support save data transfer to the Kabuto version once the game’s full releases are out. Digital pre-orders for the full game have also started on the Japanese Nintendo eShop at the same time. Each version will be available separately at ¥5,478 (~$34.69). However, the store page indicates that this game will only be available in Japanese. Although Imagineer has already cleared all legal issues in Europe that prevented it from formally releasing new Medabots entries internationally, the company is still gradually releasing localizations of the new games. The first new game to have a global release is Medabots Survivors, which has been readily available on Android and iOS worldwide since February 25, 2026—a whole year after it came out first in Japan in February 2025. The full releases of Medabots Card Robattle RB will be available for Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 25, 2026. The game is also playable on Nintendo Switch 2 via backward compatibility. The post Medabots Card Robattle RB Demo Appears on Switch in Japan appeared first on Siliconera.
