Officials at the New York Racing Association (NYRA) have announced the return of its popular summer morning excursion reimagined as the Saratoga Breakfast and Thoroughbred Farm Tours, presented by the New York Thoroughbred Breeders Inc (NYTB). The lineup turns the spotlight on Thoroughbred aftercare and also welcomes the program's first stallion operation.The 2026 series will begin on opening day of the summer meeting at Saratoga, Friday, July 3, and will continue weekly through the final Sunday of the season, Sept. 6. The weekly lineup features Old Friends at Cabin Creek on Thursdays, marking the program's first dedicated aftercare partner; Old Tavern Farm on Fridays; Sugar Plum Farm on Saturdays; and Ironhorse Stallions on Sundays, introducing the tour's first stallion operation.A buffet-style breakfast is held at the racetrack between 7 and 9 a.m. against the backdrop of morning training. Fans then board a CDTA trolley at 9:15 for the round-trip ride to the featured farm for the day for a 60-90-minute guided tour before returning to Saratoga for live racing. Each tour can accommodate up to 52 guests and a portion of the proceeds will be earmarked to support the NYTB scholarship fund.“The Saratoga Breakfast and Thoroughbred Farm tours have become a popular summer experience for racing fans and families alike,” said Najja Thompson, Executive Director of New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc.
