A fact-finding team has been formed by the Jammu and Kashmir government. This team will investigate alleged violations of the Forest Rights Act. The probe follows the demolition of homes belonging to tribal families in the Raika Bandi area of Sidhra, Jammu. Minister Javed Ahmad Rana expressed strong disapproval of the action.
