She did a little solo maintenance work, obviously it was her first since her win, and she went beautiful,” Brown said of the filly, owned in partnership by Douglas Scharbauer and breeder Three Chimneys. “She's been doing great and she's emerged from the race as good as you would have hoped.” G1 Kentucky Oaks winner ALWAYS A RUNNER back on the tab at Saratoga with a solo half mile in 48 and 4/5 seconds according to NYRA clockers. pic.twitter.com/XEnED8jMfO— Mary Eddy (@singmysongbird) May 16, 2026 During the same set, Brown sent out 'TDN Rising Star' Emerging Market (Candy Ride {Arg}) to go four panels in :50.12 (70/88) outside of his 3-year-old stablemate Tacticality (Essential Quality), a maiden winner from five trips to the races. Emerging Market, this year's GII Louisiana Derby hero, was well-backed at 87-10 while making his third career start in the Derby and came home an even 10th.“He did a little maintenance work, and I thought he went exceptionally well–he was moving great,” Brown said. “He's on target for the Belmont. I'm very happy with him. He lost a shoe in the Derby and took a couple days to get himself organized with that foot, but he's doing well.”Also working for Brown were 'Rising Star' Ways and Means (Practical Joke), 4f in :48.81 (23/88); MGISW Segesta (Ghostzapper), 4f, :49.03 (31/88); and recent GIII Modesty Stakes heroine Kathynmarissa (American Pharoah), 4f, :48.96 (30/88). Everything with her is just keeping her happy. She's had a rest, now it's time to get her ready.“I'll give her one more good five-eighths and if she comes back fine, she might be ready to go there,” Baltas added. “We'll nominate to the Intercontinental too, but we'll see how it goes. I don't like to push horses, but she's really close.”In the $250,000 GIII Intercontinental Stakes, Ag Bullet would be facing her peers over the same 5 1/2 furlongs of the Jaipur.“We'll try one more year with her and then probably end up breeding her,” Baltas added. “We've been very fortunate with her. We bought her as a yearling ($220,000 KEESEP), and she's given us a lot of great moments.”Ag Bullet has amassed a record of 8-1-3 from 17 starts and earnings of $2,977,228.The post Mott Stable Stars Top Busy Saratoga Worktab appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
