Gold just swept the sell-side sitting around 4,540 on May 15 — that's the second time price has tapped that Order Block zone between 4,500 and 4,540, and both times it rejected hard. Smart money isn't leaving that zone alone for no reason. The structure story here isn't complicated. We had a BOS early April, then a ChoCH flipped everything bearish mid-April. Price rode that Bearish Range all the way down, swept liquidity below the lows, and now it's trying to breathe. That's exactly the sequence you want to see before a retracement plays out. My main thesis is simple — that sweep at 4,540 was the engineered move to grab stops before pushing into the FVG sitting between 4,575 and 4,600. That gap hasn't been filled yet and buy-side liquidity is parked right above it. That's where I'm looking to trim. If momentum is strong and price chews through the FVG cleanly, the next area of interest is 4,635 to 4,644 before the full EMA wall at 4,658 to 4,700 starts pushing back. Those four EMAs are stacked bearishly up there — I'm not calling a reversal, just a clean retracement trade. I'm out and reassessing if H4 closes below 4,500.
