A fire broke out at a commercial building in Triq il-Kbira in Lija earlier today. The Civil Protection Department were alerted at around 9.30am and went immediately on site. No injuries were reported at the time of writing. The road is partially close due to the fire and the public is being advised to avoid the area to keep roads clear for emergency vehicles.
