Vincent Marmara’s latest political survey puts Robert Abela 14.2% ahead of Alex Borg in preferred Prime Minister race. “Among those who voted for the Labour Party in 2022, 86.9% prefer Robert Abela, while 3.0% mentioned Alex Borg. The rest were undecided (5.1%), said none (4.5%), or said ‘others’ (0.5%),” wrote Marmara on Facebook. On the other hand, among those who voted for the Nationalist Party in 2022, 80.1% prefer Alex Borg, while 3.7% prefer Robert Abela. The remaining respondents were undecided (6.8%), said none (6.6%), or said ‘others’ (2.8%). After applying the scientific model to those who did not answer, the final results show that 46.9% prefer Robert Abela 32.7% prefer Alex Borg 2.9% prefer others 8.6% prefer no one 8.9% are still undecided. This gives a 14.2% lead in favour of Labour Party leader Robert Abela. This survey was conducted between 7th and 13th May through telephone and mobile interviews. The sample consisted of 1,200 people, with a 95% confidence level and a confidence interval of ±2.8%, among individuals aged 16 and over. The sample was calibrated according to Maltese demographics and how people voted in the 2022 general election in order to achieve maximum accuracy.
