Meir Biderman and Staff Sgt. S. were wounded in what was described as a Hezbollah explosive drone strike in southern Lebanon. Rambam Health Care Campus said both soldiers later regained full consciousness and were recovering after passing the danger stage.The hospital said the two wounded soldiers were treated in the trauma unit and underwent surgery that was described as successful. Their conditions were reported as stable.Biderman serves as commander of the 401st Armored Brigade. Staff Sgt. S. is a combat photographer with the Operational Documentation Unit.The incidents were reported amid ongoing Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon.Biderman assumed command of the 401st Brigade, also known as the Iron Trails Formation, after the death of Col. Ahsan Daksa in October 2024 during fighting in the Gaza Strip.Daksa had previously received a commendation from the head of Northern Command for his actions during the Second Lebanon War. He later served as commander of the Golan Formation before being killed by an explosive device in Jabalia in northern Gaza.Rambam Health Care Campus said Biderman and Staff Sgt.
