A 47-year-old man is at risk of dying following an accident at a construction site within the University of Malta in Msida.Police were called to the site at around 12pm after receiving reports that assistance was needed.Preliminary investigations found that the Żabbar resident was injured while operating machinery during the course of his work.A medical team treated the worker at the scene before he was taken to hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.Magistrate Dr Monica Borg Galea has opened an inquiry into the incident, while investigations by the Malta Police Force and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA) are ongoing.•
