Based in Singapore, Gary will oversee the region’s commercial growth and operations, succeeding Warren Hayashi, who will retire at the end of 2026.This leadership transition reflects Adyen’s ongoing commitment to cross-pollinating expertise and deploying its most experienced leaders globally to stay deeply aligned with evolving customer needs. Gary joined Adyen in 2018 and was most recently SVP, Global Head of Account Management and Partnerships, where he successfully scaled merchant success and the company’s partner ecosystem worldwide. A seasoned operator, Yang’s extensive career includes leadership roles at high-growth tech platforms such as VP of Operations at Peek and early General Manager at viagogo. His diverse background spans strategy consulting at BCG, product management at Microsoft, software engineering at Booz Allen Hamilton, and venture capital at GGV Capital.
