3.6-magnitude earthquake hits J-K's Baramulla

A mild earthquake of magnitude 3.6 struck Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir early Monday. The tremor occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers at 2 am, according to the National Center for Seismology. No damage or casualties were reported at the time of filing this report. This district experienced another earthquake in February measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale. The Pattan area was the epicenter of that earlier tremor.
