The President of the National Assembly of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, issued an update stating that the death toll from the earthquakes that struck the country last month has risen to 4,490.Additionally, Rodríguez reported that the number of injured currently stands at 16,740, while rescue and recovery forces have successfully pulled 6,462 people from the rubble of collapsed buildings.
