State govt. reviews proposal for high-speed bullet train corridors - The HinduPublished - July 17, 2026 08:44 pm ISTRoads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy with Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj in Hyderabad on Friday.The government has initiated discussions on developing high-speed bullet train connectivity by reviewing proposals for three major corridors aimed at strengthening the State’s transport infrastructure.Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy chaired a high-level review meeting at the Secretariat on Friday to examine the proposed high-speed rail corridors.The corridors discussed during the meeting included Hyderabad–Pune–Mumbai, Bharat Future City–Bengaluru and Bharat Future City–Amaravati–Chennai. Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj and senior officials attended the meeting.
