Aditya Birla Renewables acquired Sprng Energy's holding company for Rs 17,200 crore. This significant deal catapults the company's generation capacity to 9.2 gigawatts. Sprng Energy, previously owned by Shell Plc, operates across India. Shell had purchased Sprng Energy three years ago from Actis. The acquisition strengthens India's energy future and industrial competitiveness.
