Atma, or the soul, reflects divine purity but gets swayed by Maya through the three gunas. This misleading association leads to the false sense of self tied to the body and the ensuing cycle of reincarnation. The Gita calls for spiritual enlightenment and overcoming these gunas to attain higher consciousness. By purifying one’s self and devoting to Krishn, one can liberate themselves and realize the unity of Atma with Paramatma.
