It’s a gacha/lucky dip. They often have themes like “self defense for women” and the stuff they give away is the cheapest, most ineffective crap from Temu that they buy in bulk. Sometimes they’ll have literal mini gacha pods that they scoop with slips of paper inside. They make the majority of their money on the videos of them doing the scoops, which get millions of views. It is the worst combination of social media, gambling, and over consumption.
